| How about what version of document you're using what level of the
online tools you're using. What version of whatever tool was used to
create the graphic. .0 was put in 4 months ago there's been updates in
most of the tools used to build books we need to know what baselevels
you're working at before we can make any suggestions.
The problem described in .0 was fixed a couple of baselevels ago if
you're using the latest tools as described in note 64 post a pointer
to the file here or via mail and we'll take a look at it.

It's OK, I've solved the problem myself. I was using the wrong file
types.

PS. I've just noticed a problem with numbered lists if the number of
items in the list exceeds 9, the extra digit, (ie 0) tends to crowd
into the text likt this:
8 Blah blah...
9 Blah blah....
10More blah blah...
Any solutions for this?

| If you can't wait for the next release, would an align_char before
the first 9 list elements work? (If you don't want to fiddle with
.sdml files when _your_ product is stable, you could use BEFORE and
AFTER conditions.
Personally, I'd prefer to wait for the real thing but a tech writer's
gotta do what a tech writer's gotta do.

| Problem:
When displaying either diagrams drawn in Rags or screens captured in
Rags, vertical line(s) are appearing at the right-hand side of the
diagram/captured screen.
It looks like the diagram/captured screen is starting to be drawn
again. As the artwork prints out without these lines, I think the
problem is with Bookreader. Does anyone know why this is happening or
how to correct it?
The versions of the s/w are as follows:
Bookreader - image file id link date 5-Oct-89
link version 05-05
VAX document - 1.2-1
VMS - 5.3-1
Rags - 2.0

| I'd suggest upgrading RAGS and trying again. The latest version of
RAGS is 3.something 2.0 was in the time frame that the problem you are
describing occurred.
Thank-you for the detailed listing of the various components it makes
our job a lot easier when we see what versions of everything you're
running. Now a nit you forgot to add what version of the online
tools you're using.
