158.0. "V1.2 installation problem" by BOOKIE::HEBERT (Cyberdyne Systems Model 101-A) Fri Jun 23 1989 18:05
    Hi,

I just finished the installion of DOCUMENT V1.2, the new internal
kit, and the CUP$ONLINE_TOOLS saveset on my cluster as prescribed in
    note 64.7.

The installation went without a hitch, except that when I tried to
build my book with the ONLINE.HANDBOOK destination I got an error
    that I really didn't expect:
%DOC-I-IDENT, VAX Document V1.2-A 2-JUN-1989 16:15:56.35
%DOC-F-PGFLQ_TOO_LOW, Process paging file quota too low, required value is 25000
Is this a new requirement? Since when does DOCUMENT require your
PGFLQUO to be 25000? Anyway, I set mine to 25k logged out and in
again, and tried the build again.
This time, it worked, but I got an internal error:
%DOC-I-IDENT, VAX Document V1.2-A 2-JUN-1989 16:15:56.35

. (repeated for every header in every chapter in the book)
.
And, since the headers didn't process, none of their symbols got
defined either. So each time I referenced a section number, it failed
and eventually the book build failed do to too many undefined references.
Note that I did try processing the book with CUP_HANDBOOK and it
worked just fine. This seems to be just an ONLINE problem. Also
please note that this book processed correctly with the ONLINE.HANDBOOK
destination yesterday when I was running DOCUMENT V1.1.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong in the installation?
Yes, I ran SYS$STARTUP:DOC$STARTUP and DOC$INT_STARTUP on every
node. And yes, I replaced the DCL tables and merged DOC$INT_DESIGNS.DAT
    file with my DOC$DESIGNS.DAT.

    thanks,

| | Install the june baselevel of the online bookbuilding tools and
everything will be compatible. Note 64 has all the information you
    need.

| | Well, that's what I get for looking at the Release Notes and not
    the Installation Guide(s).

It was using the wrong baselevel because I had restored
CUP$ONLINE_TOOLS.SAV to the wrong place (I left out the "..." on
    the BACKUP destination).

    thanks for your help,
