Hi,
We , in PARIS, are working for a really big account and they are
looking for a product like the bookreader, to manage their own
documentation.
Can we expect this product to be sold in a near future, or have
we to build something similar on top of DECWINDOWS.
Thanks,
Benoit

CUP Engineering is planning to incorporate the online bookbuilding
tools into a future release of VAX DOCUMENT, so that customers can
create their own online books. The key word here is 'planning' --
there are no firm dates yet but this is definitely a DOCUMENT future.
Thanks,
Mary

In addition to what Mary points out, we are also looking into an early
field test of those tools for CMPs and certain other customers as part
of the Software Business Technologies third party program. Also,
we are looking into Bookreader support for other front-ends to the
Bookreader, like EPIC for instance.
I'd be interested in hearing more about what your needs are, and
putting you in touch directly with folks who are involved with these
efforts.
Would you please send me mail on node VMSDEV::WEISENFELD with some
more details about your project?
Regards,
Marian
