435.0. "SDL on CURRNT - Ease Upgrade Problems" by CURRNT::DAW (The Real thing .......) Wed Jul 10 1991 11:52
Have been getting the following error from SDL since the EASE upgrade. The
Solution is included for reference - we may need to do the same at the
    time of the PASTIT upgrade.

296.2 (SDL notes conference)
It isn't a problem with SDL or an RTL, it's a problem with the command
tables. My bet is that you'll have to re-install the development kit.
I expect what happened is that the VMS installation re-created the SDL
command verb for SDLNPARSE, totally wiping out the existing verb. It
sounds like something VMS probably oughtn't to be doing (i.e., an
oversight or bug); I haven't looked at the release notes for 5.2, but I
wouldn't think that blithely wiping out command definitions would be
considered desirable, particularly if it should happen to ever clobber
    a customer's definitions..
296.3
re-installing SDL V3.2-10 should correct the problem experienced by the
    author of the base note.
