This is a mail I've just sent out to the Solent site, but's relevant

Subject: IA:EASE Migration information and request.

Please forward this mail as necessary; I can't seem to find
        a complete distribution list anywhere.....

As you all know, the EASE Migration bandwagon, like the old Mississippi,
just keeps rolling along.

It's clear that we haven't been doing some things very well, and have
been caught out this time round.

To address this situation, I intend to do two things.

(1) I have an "EASE awareness" presentation which I'd be very happy
to give at team meetings, or a wider audience. Please contact me
if you'd like this; it will need about 30 minutes, to include a Q&A
session.

(2) I have agreement from the management team that we can appoint
"Guardians" (or whatever), who will be responsible for specific
products, and so would assess the impact of the new version of Pascal,
for example, on our development.

If you are interested in being involved in this, please let me know
the product areas you would be like to be involved in. Obviously,
a certain amount of this work is also cross-products. I will then
gain the necessary approvals for the relevant people to spend some
time on this work when the EASE V5.4-1A BL1 kit is available.

I'm also including an up to date EASE migration timetable, so we all
know where we are in the cycle.

FUTURS - already running EASE V5.3-2.

CURRNT - will be upgraded to EASE V5.3-2 on January 9th.

PASTIT - will be upgraded to EASE V5.3-2 in early March.

ADGTST will be upgraded to EASE V5.4-1A BL1 in mid-February (dependant
                                on kit availability).

All aplications will need to test on ADGTST during late Feb/early March
to produce the required EASE v5.4-1A impact documents, ready for a
Go/No Go decision in early April.

If the decision by the EMTF is "Go", then FUTURS will be upgraded to
EASE V5.4-1A BL1 in mid April.

Regards, Peter.
