Why the hell does somebody keep defining forms$trace as true at the system logical level. Kindly keep it as a process logical so it does not affect the rest of us! Mark

| Mark,

I know that you know why this is happening but, for the benefit
    of everyone else...

One of the groups that are developing, using ACMS, currently need
to have FORMS$TRACE set TRUE. Unfortunately for ACMS this HAS to
be set at SYSTEM level. (Don't ask me to explain fully here, please!)
(Symptoms of this problem will be big increases in your disk usage
and one or more 'formname.TRACE' files lying around)
Individuals can, I understand, get around the problem by setting

    		ASSIGN FALSE FORMS$TRACE

    for their processes.

Hope this helps (If this doesn't appear to work let me know)

    Keith.
