Is there a good reason why you get FTSV version 2.0-003 on CHEST
and version 2.1-001 on RDGE43 ?
2.1-001 has the useful feature of giving you an estimated completion
time for the whole job. I don't know of there are any other
differences.

| 120.1 | FTSV 2.0 still needed? | RDGE28::THOMPSON | Fri Feb 19 1988 16:53 | 9 | |
The reason was the change to the callable interface with V2.1 which
led to much pain and anguish when it was installed on futurs last
year.
Some users wanted 2.1, others needed to stay with 2.0, so I split
the two versions across each node.
That was about 6 months ago... is there anyone who still NEEDS
FTSV2.0 on Futurs???

I hope not, as FTSV V2.1 is the recommended version for the upgrade
to VMS V4.7. Since the support machines will quickly follow, no
one really wants to rely on the use of FTSV V2.0. Or do they??
