| 113.7 |  | RDGE00::RUSSELL | Oh good, not long until EOY/BOY...... | Tue Apr 19 1988 08:35 | 7 |
| | Jerry, do we need all these PM's so near to the move?

    Surely FS will be doing a "super" PM in the tear-down/rebuild of
    these system...

    Peter.

| 113.8 | Certain shutdown or perhaps a crash | NECK::THOMPSON |  | Thu Apr 21 1988 12:17 | 14 |
| | I see your point Peter, but I think what will happen is that as
    you say the machines will be given a thorough once over when they're
    installed at the Crescent and the PM's will consist of looking
    in the error logs for anything unusual since the installation date.
    If there appears to be a potential problem then FS will take the
    machine and fix it. If there are no problems then FS won't take
    the machine down.

    If I cancel these PM's then the period until the next scheduled
    PM will be longer than normal and the risk of having unscheduled
    downtime will increase.

    If you want to cancel the PM on SEPTIC and accept this increased
    risk then let me know.
