I have come into the possesion of the following RTL
routines written in Pascal, and are intended to be used as
    environment files.
    		CLI$ROUTINES.PAS
    		FDL$ROUTINES.PAS
    		LIB$ROUTINES.PAS
    		SMG$ROUTINES.PAS
    		STR$ROUTINES.PAS

These files are currently in my area, if enough interest is
shown in the enviroment files perhaps they may be added to the
    ISTOOLBOX.

I also have a document on "Programming VMS using Pascal",
it gives lots of hints on how to use the RTL routines and
    the system services (i.e. Starlet.Pas).

| 7.1 | A little more info please | RDGE28::HAYES | Ian Hayes, ext. 4992 | Wed Apr 23 1986 16:16 | 10 |
| Do they simply contain the declarations for the corresponding routines
    or more than that?

Also, is there duplication with what is contained in STARLET.PEN?

If they are useful, I would suggest they live in SYS$LIBRARY with
    STARLET!

    Ian.

As far as I am aware they only contain the declarations.
They are not duplicated in STARLET as yet, I think they
may be included in the next major Pascal installation kit.

In my opinion they are very useful and should reside with
    STARLET.

The routines are currently in my account. I hope this has
    been of help.
