hi,
I am having a problem with tabletalk fexes create prior to the FOCUS
6.2.2 upgrade. After the upgrade the fex files are not recognized by
focus. By this I mean the whole fex is not displayed when users try to
Bring it up in our front end. The fexes were created using cobol
with the filedef offline file command. Is there a conversion that was
missed ?
Thanks

Hi John,
I'm having trouble understanding what your problem is; can you give
more information ?
Also, can you clarify the bit about Cobol & FILEDEF OFFLINE ?
Thanx

Hi,
You can call me @ 297-2306. The problem in a nutshell is that focus
tabletalk was working prior to the upgrade. Tabletalk files were
created in the filedef mode in a cobol program prior to the upgrade and
were working fine. After the upgrade the tabletalk files were not
working. When you brought the file into the cobol program it would not
be recognized by focus. There is a small box with options that should
appear near the bottom right corner of the screen that was not
appearing. In addition the tabletalk file would not be displayed from
the first line. It would start at about the 5th.
thanks
