Hi, let say someone added two new field to an already existing
focus master file and that the original master had two segment
and now it was changed to one. Now with this new master file
data can not be access gives a error. How can I reorganized the
data to be a one segment database and not two and also to accept
the new field or any other modification to that master file.
Can someone you me the instruction for this process?
Thanks
LJ

I followed the instruction on REBUILD it work find except then data
for one of the key field was emptied. This is the field that was in
one segment and I changed it to another. Why didn't rebuild put
the data in that field. Since this is a primary key I can not select
and update it will have to done my using SCAN. But imagine I have
over 1000 records. What happened? What can be done to resolve this?
