We have a customer running FOCUS on an IBM 4381, who would like
to move it over to a VAX. I have no idea how to convert their current
disk usage to something VAX configurable, and could do with some
help if anyone else has been through this.
On the 4381 they have 3380 disks that are measured in cylinders,
this is what they have:
SINK MACHINES 4E 30 cyl
FOCEXECS, MASTERS 30 cyl
USERS 180 cyl
SYSTEMS 50 cyl
___
290
OS BRIDGE 250 (7files)
If anyone has any input about how to come up with something here
I would be grateful.
Thanks in advance
Alex

I've forgotten how many megabytes to a cylinder, but what you have to
do
is convert cylinders to megabytes, and megabytes to blocks (512
bytes/block). An RA81 has about 1.1 million blocks.
