SUBJ:   FIRST MEETING OF INTERNAL USERS GROUP

        You are invited to attend a meeting on August 5, 1988  at  the
        Virginia  Road  facility  (VR05), Board of Directors Room from
        9:00-11:00.

        Rich Petroph and myself will lead this working session.   Some
        of the items of discussion will be:

        1.  Establish standards around file/data naming
        2.  Provide seminars to  share  the  learning  experiences  of
            other groups
        3.  Establish a FOCUS toolkit
        4.  Establish standard user training
        5.  Lobby IBI for better compliance with VIA as well as better
            support for RDB
        6.  Establish internal support/users group
        7.  Publish application developers newsletter


        We will also appoint individuals that will  chair  this  group
        and  decide  on  the formation of a charter.  A time and place
        for the next meeting will be announced.

        Please invite anyone else in your organization that  may  have
        an interest or concerns related to this group.

        Please plan on attending.  I will confirm the agenda one  week
        prior to the presentation.

    IS THERE GOING TO BE ANOTHER MEETING? I WAS NOT AT DEC WHEN THIS
