We are using FOCUS here as an End-user tool for reporting purposes
against RDB's. My problem is that I want to see/monitor what the
users are using the database for. Is there anyway I can get a log of
all the transactions against the database so i can know what fields
are being used and what type of requests are been formulated by
the users of the database.
Thanks in advance
Mike.

You can do an Usage Audit using the ECHO parameter of the SU server:
page 3-03 of the VAX/VMS FOCUS Simultaneous Usage Facility Users
Manual. This parameter will create a usage file that can then be
reported on. This file could get quite big depanding on activity.
It also lets you know WHO is doing WHAT.
I hope this helps.
