Greetings,
I am a member of European Finance MIS, about to embark on a
Project which involves :
creating a system capable of handling Low Volume Data.
Data would be entered at multiple sites .
This data would be processed in 2 ways :-
TOTAL roll-up required at Site X.
INTERMEDIATE roll-up required at Site Y.
In connection with roll-ups,would it be possible to combine 2 or more
FOCUS databases to give ONE single outcome?
Our intentions are to give the Users of this system Reporting Facilities
at both input and Roll-up Level.
There would be Validation procedures built in to the system at Data Entry Level.
I am at present considering FOCUS in the role of the main
development/modelling tool and would welcome any comment regarding potential
FOCUS limitations/particular strengths within these development areas.
Look forward to any comments on the above -
Regards.

| From the sounds of your needs, it sounds like FOCUS' financial
reporting language (FRL) could easily handle it. If not FRL, then
a clever use of RECAPS, SUBFOOTS, and multi-verb requests. Look
in the reference manual on the chapter for FRL. If you are still
    having trouble, contact me ...
