217.0. "PaceSetters?" by ODIXIE::RYANKE (Kevin Ryan @MTO DTN 360-5115) Mon Jul 11 1994 16:21
In the "Selling News"-July 1994, it has an article about "PaceSetters",
120 folks in an "electronic family". It sounds like what I have always
wished this notes conference could be, a meeting place for the Digital
    Sales Professional.

Are any of you part of the select 120? Could you give us some insight
as to what is really happening in our "family"?

This conference was started by a sales leader who thought it important
to communicate directly with his team. That idea should never have
died, just because his aim was not precise enough.

To someone in the field, very remote and very dependent on
communication vehicles like Notes files, that we do not use such
tremendous tools has always seemed ludicrous.

In the new "Digital", please find ways to communicate directly with
your sales force. Communication is a two-way process. Please open up
the highway and give us a voice in shaping our future.

    Thanks - Kevin

| | I am/was one of that group.

It seemed to work like this:

Everynow and then we would receive an email questionnaire on
        particular topic.

We never received any feedback on the results.

We would everynow and then receive another questionnaire.

    	I stopped answering.
