I am writing in from Los Angeles Sales. I have a customer who is
currently installed with PSP-11's running a home-grown operating
system written in a language called FORTH. They currently have 3rd
party tapes and drives attached and want to move over to DEC'S SCSI
based tapes and drives (large capacity). They called on Colorado for
help in getting MSCP - Mass Storage Control Protocal - they need it to
modify their operating system to support our product. Colorado said it
was a doable thing - but they needed to go thru local sales. Is there
anyone out there that can help me in identfying how/if this is
possible? If you need more information please send me mail directly
via either vaxmail - swam2::neff_ho or via A1 - Hollace Neff @las.
I do realize the implications from a support issue that warranty and
DEC support may be negatively impacted.
Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help me!
Regards,
Hollace Neff

Sounds like a real time sink :-) My first guess would be CSS at 1 800 TEAMCSS. | |||||

I reread my message again and I meant PDP-11's - thanks,

I am a CSS Sales Exec in Santa Clara, Calif. The way to get the MSCP
approval is for your AGM to write a memo justifying the need for this
licence.
When you have got that memo, call the CSS Exec in Los Angeles, Jack
Ng, at DTN 531-4408, to help you.
Good Luck.
