| My name is Simms Pearl. Many of you know me as the primary I.S. support
for the Dun & Bradstreet ( and other external) databases. I am in
Sales & Marketing I.M. & T and I am currently in Marlboro at MR04.
I am in charge of loading the DUn & Bradstret databases and maintaining
the integrity of the databases. for general use.

How I've used them: I am the technical data analyst on the business
side of direct marketing. I use this DB to help target people for
direct mail and/or telemarketing campaigns and to help link many
database togethers using duns numbers as a base.

I have worked with D&B data in the past, though not through
the files provided inside Digital.
Corporate Acquisition is has 2 major tasks associated with
D&B data.
(1) Add D&B Site ID numbers to a subset of the current records
in the Corporate Supplier Master System (CSMS)
Database.
(2) Establish an going process to add D&B Site ID numbers
to all new records in CSMS as soon as possible after
they are entered.
(I am meeting with Charlie Flint on these issues now.)
