Hello, I'm Fumito Kondo. I'd like to know about Sinumeric 880M which is CNC controler. I want to communicate to Sinumeric 880M from VAX/VMS. Is there any software tool which will connect to 880M? Fumito, you might want to have a look into the notes conference
MILLER::Digital_DNC, and/or ask your question there (too). DIGITAL
DNC is the corporate product to connect NC, CNC to our computers;
it has an interface to talk different protocols, and to add new
ones if needed.

if the NC-Control is (or can be) equipped with a SINEC H1 (=Ethernet)
interface, then you ahould have a look at the DECosap notes conference.
