    Does anybody knows whether it is possible to link an R40 SIEMENS
    Processor to a vax?
    NOTE:R40 works not under B2000 ,it has his own Operating System.

	What I know for sure is that the R30/40's don't support OSI-communication, so neither VAX FTSIE nor the ASSET VSH1 will work. You can try to find out wether the DUST-machine can help you - although it comes from an area of cell-controler to computer communication. The R30/40 would have to support DUST 3964 or 3964R - these are Siemens protocols - and then there would have detailed tests to be done... Regards Elisabeth
