Hello, Does anybody have information on the Quad 67 CD player? As I compared it with CD66. A DC jack is added to the front pannel. I think that there are big changes in mechanism and electronics inside. Any ideas that this is a product improvement or just a cost reduction? Is there any information from Quad that they are going to have a new product line on 67 series (Tuner 67 and Pre-Amp 67)? Any ideas are appreciated. Norman

CDM 9 drive, Crystal 4238 D/A, list $790.
It is said to replace CD??, the older version, which is having lots of
problem. QUAD cannot tolerate it themselves, a failure in their terms.

I asked about the 67 in Reading Hi-Fi last week. they said it's available, but delivery is (I think) 6 weeks. Cost (again, I think) �790. The 66 has been withdrawn. grahame | |||||
