    Hiya,
    
    Anyone have any opinions about Mordaunt Short MS 10 Series 2 speakers?
    And their price when new? I looked in all the mags, but they didn't
    have anything about them, so I guess they must be last years model.

    Hello!
    
    I have a pair of the little jewels and I absolutely ADORE them.  They
    are THE best speaker I have ever heard in it's price range.  I
    currently have about $3500 (U.S.) worth of electronics (used Naim) in
    front of them and they are truly spectacular.  The better the front
    end, the better the sound you get.  I still haven't found them to
    really limit the sound and musical capabilities of any system I've put
    them in.  The only thing they don't do is extreme dynamics because of
    their size.  With the right stuff up-line, you'll get astounding
    accuracy and musicality as well as stunning soundstaging - layers and
    layers just unfurl themselves before you.
    
    At this date, they're not made anymore, but, the JPW Minim comes mighty
    close to the Mordaunts.  I hope you can find a pair - they're really
    worth it!
