Hi,

Is this as crazy as it sounds or what?

I heard a rumour that painting the backside of a cd black should have a
positive effect on the sound quality. Actually I know some people swearing
this. 

So far nobody has been able to demonstrate this to me, and I can't think
of any reason why there shoud be a difference.
