	Yes, I have a pair of JR149 loudspeakers - see note 19.38.
What would you like to know about them, other than that they are
cylindrical, about a foot high, and sound pretty good?
Designed by Jim Rogers, and based on the BBC monitor LS3/5a design etc..
	Gary.

    Weeeeeeeeeeeell...

    Why are they cylindrical?! =:*)

I just wanted some general info on 'em, like where they're sold,
    how much, etc.

Is that the Rogers associated with some quite good bookshelf speakers?

    Chris.

I think that Jim Rogers - designer of the JR149 is a different one
to that which appears on the Rogers range of (bookshelf) loudspeakers.
It's over 10 years since I bought my JR149s - they cost about 120 then.
	There is also a sub-woofer which I haven't tried called a JR150.
The JRs are no longer on sale, but you may be able to pick some up
second-hand, as I occasionally see them advertised.
Why are they cylindrical? Well, speakers with no corners, it is said,
have lower colouration! I still use my JR149s in my second system and
like them as much as ever.
	Gary.
