    Hi

I am looking for a peice of slate or marble that I can make a shelf out
off. The shelf is for the bottom of the bath. So something that is
large enough to cover the width of a normal size bath (not the length).

I know that stone masons would do this but I have seen their prices,
and wondered if anybody might have something lying aroud that they
    want to get rid of.

Yours (drips on the bathroom floor) Bruce

| I might be able to help. I had a very large marble slab (about 1"
thick) a while ago and held on to it even though my other half kept
refusing to let me make a work surface out of it for the kitchen.
Marble makes a wonderful preparation surface as it is easy-clean and
stays cold (great fro rolling patry if it stays cold!)

I shall have a look for it. Remind me again if you hear nothing for a
    few days.

    Andrew
