    I'm here in the US and have just been told that Mother's Day in
    the UK is this coming Sunday. (The US celebrates later in the 
    year so I've had no forewarning!)
    
    It's obviously too late to get a card, etc, but as my mum lives
    in Basingstoke (Kempshott to be specific), I wondered if anyone
    could point me in the direction of a florist who can presumably
    take my credit card order over the phone?  
    
    Any recommendations? Or could someone perhaps open the Yellow Pages
    for me?

	Hi! I am in the States (South Carolina) but I send flowers over the pond with no problems. Just find a florist in your area that does international wire to a florist in the area you need to send the flowers to. If you do that tomorrow she should get them Saturday... Paulette

	Thanks for the phone number! Re .1, I've known people to have had unpredictable service when "wiring" flowers. In addition, the cabling florists add a hefty surcharge that far exceeds the cost of an international phone call. Re .3 Mother's Day in the US this year is Sunday 13 May according to my DEC-supplied diary. John
