    As a service to all those ex-Basingstoke and Area residents who
    still have a property interest in the area I would like other
    landlord/ladies views on Property Management Agencies.
    	I am currently using Gascoigne-Pees in Alton but as they 
    a)haven't found me a tenant yet.
    b)haven't arranged for the garden to be done since I left.
    c)haven't astonished me with their customer handling skills.
     I am considering changing agencies. If anybody can give me a
    glowing account of any of the others that operate in the area or
    warn me off any particular awful ones I would appreciate it.

    DON'T use the Basingstoke Housing Association!!!
    
    I think Martin and Stratford near the Hop Leaf used to handle some
    house rentals, perhaps someone else can relate god or bad experiences?

Me and my mates have between us rented a house in Hook from Acorn P.M.S.
for over three years. I'd recommend them: they seem to be quite reasonable.

    Their Property Management Department at this office deals with Andover,
    Whitchurch and Winchester areas ..... possibly Basingstoke too.
    
    I have some friends in Zimbabwe who have let their Whitchurch house via
    Beales for the last umpteen years, with very few problems ....

Well, there you go. Both sides of a tenancy agreement happy with
the property management agents. They *must* be good.

I actually moved out in July '87. But I was the guy who found it
and was the first 'Tenant' in October 1985.
