| Well, I got my ageing Fiesta Serviced at Porteploys.
They are near the Ice Skating Rink. I needed about 1 day's notice,
I think.
The important thing is that my car passed

| I took mine to the Honda Garage who's name escapes me, just south
of the town centre. It's also a Jaguar dealer if that helps you
find it.
They also did it at one days notice ( and passed ).

| I took my car (Jimmy) to Manx Auto Services Ltd on the Daneshill Industrial
Estate - up by Chineham - they did it the same day as I rang them - and
he passed!

| I have heard bad things about Webbers the Honda Garage. Maybe for
MOT's they are OK. This person worked there for a while, and needless
to say, she won't touch them now!

| Thanks for the input. I went to Jacksons in the town centre in the end.
The bad news is that the %$#*+@%$!$%&... FAILED ME !!!
Apart from this minor point they seemed like a reasonable place.

Due to being an incredibly organised pair we just discovered the
wife's car ran out of MOT on March 2nd. Whoops.
Now, this is an extremely rusty and generally kanc*ered old thing
and will need a forgiving garage or mechanic to get it through the
MOT. Does anybody know of a friendly person who does MOT's?
PS Mod, this isn't an invitation to break the law!
