	Hi everybody 

	I'm Guido Guerrieri, a Principal EIS-Swas Specialist working in
	DEC Rome (Italy). I'm currently enrolled in a BID for
	the new MIS shop in a medium insurance company.
	That company, the PHENIX-SOLEIL is a part of an Holding with the 
	headquarter in FRANCE: Groupe GAN-AGF.

	The competion against DEC is rapresented by IBM, Unisys ad BULL.
	Could anyone give me some information about these insurance
	packages??

	a) MAINSOFT: should be a packages developed in France, covering,
	   i guess, general risks, car insurance, property casualty 
	   and so on.

	b) CIRVIE: should be a packeges developed in Swithzerland covering
	   the LIFE insurance.

	both of above are offered by the Honeywell-Bull on a DPS 8000/81

	c) PRIMAS: should be a package developed by Unisys and Arthur-Andersen
	   covering all the main activity of an Insurance Company.

	Primas is developed using the LINC IV generation Software by UNISYS
	and it is offered on two A12B (UNI-Burroughs line).

	All kind of information will be usefull.

    if primas is written in LINC, then the package is a very strong and
    flexible 4gl language. don't compete technically against LINC. you
    should attack  the company UNISYS and all their problems.
