I have pulled two reports. One from the old system and one from the
new. I may be comparing oranges to apples or apples to apples, but
without knowing the exact field equivalents for the two systems it is
difficult to analyze (at least for me it is, I am really confused).
Anyway, the end result is that the numbers are different.
Has any thought been given to advance training for those who have
already taken the course?

Barbara, I did some research on the shipment numbers - I did not attempt to
prove the July pass - the software for the FMAP shipments process was still
being revised during the July pass. The August pass is the first "good" pass
to run parallel.
For the August pass on FMAP I got the same quantity you got - 1,387. On the
DEC-10 I also got the same number you got 1,256. However, the FMAP shipments
process includes Accruals - these accruals are processed seperately on the
DEC-10. Therefore, what needs to be done is to take the DEC-10 shipments
quantity 1,256, add the DEC-10 August accrual quantity 225 and subtract out
the July accrual quantity of 111:
August shipments 1,256
plus August accruals + 225
minus July accruals - 111
-----
total shipments: 1,370
This leaves us with only a small discrepancy of 17 (1387 minus 1370). This
discrepancy is less than 1% and is not worth checking. If you need further

We are currently offering a Refresher course for those who have previously
attended training. The dates are March 22, 23 and 28th. You can sign up
through the COURSES system as before. Please call the HOTLINE if there is
any problem with the scheduling.
