| 142.1 | ...same problem... | EICMFG::KAV30_SUPP |  | Wed Nov 09 1994 14:23 | 11 |
|  |     Hi Marino,

    I'm sorry, but we still have the same answer: you'r EPROM is not
    correctly programmed... instead of printing '-DKA0' your code should
    be running! The only explanation: your code does not start at the
    96k boundary... please check your process again.

    regards,

    	Thomas

| | Thanks a lot for your time, I'll do my best to get it running,
    my burning procedure is a log time it's in production; but after your
    reply I'm going to test it better.
    Anyway I keep you informed.

    Thanks again

| 142.3 | final step on EPROM boot | TRN01::FORMIA |  | Wed Nov 16 1994 15:50 | 23 |
|  |     Bye,
    finally I have the solution...
    here the story:

    first step I made error in burning the 1 Mbyte Eprom, but this was a
    delay of one day.

    second I made the right ones but SCB error xxxxx at boot time

    third I used that eprom set on a revision B kav30 board and are ok!
    At that time I tried with another revision c KAV30 and it's OK!
    I have been very unlucky because Ethernet boot works fine on the first
    board.......but I got sometimes UNXINIT 20090514 041F0000 01C forcing
    me to reboot until ok!. this last fault can be related....

    anyway, if I don't get news from you I send the board back.

    thanks for the time,

    	Marino Formia

|  |     Hi,

    do I understand right: your EPROM works fine rev B and rev C, but not
    on one specific board ? If that's the case, then yes, send it back to
    service...
