This conference has been created for the discussion of issues
related to Matra DataVision's "Euclid" Solids Modelling Package.
This conference has been initiated by LEMSB Engineering to be a source
of information for current user's of this product, and also for
those in search of a SOLIDS MODELER.
This conference will be open to anyone/everyone in Digital and
will hopefully become a source of information to Engineers, Designers,
Draftsmen, Managers, and anyone else with an interest in this product.
This conference will not be a "BATTLE GROUND" for the discussion
of the PRO's and CON's of the various SOLIDS MODELERS, but will
provide a place to share information on this product and its use
within Digital.

Where is LEMSB? Can you relate some of the details as to why you
selected Euclid and how it is being used? Any problems? What features
do you particularly enjoy? How many seats do you have? How many
trained users? What projects have you undertaken?
Do you not wish any discussion about Euclid vs. other competitive
systems in this conference? We can keep that discussion on
DCC::Mech_Design.
I think that you are the only DEC internal site using Euclid thus
far. So, unless we have some other new users, this conference will
not get many replys. If non-users of Euclid participate, then the
conference will tilt towards a discussion of the DEC-Matra agreement
in the DCMP program, Euclid vs. other systems features, etc. but
at least the conference will get much more exposure.
It's your call... Wide participation with the topic wide open about
Euclid, or only about Euclid's technical merit with very low exposure.
