    Hi MEMO specialists,

I'm working on a electronic messaging project for Crdit Lyonnais. We
propose to connect Message Router/MRX400 to MEMO users through Vaxmail
    Gateway for Memo.

Problem is that my customer told that Verimation is going to stop
support of MEMO/MRgate which is a prerequisite on the IBM side. He got
the information from Verimation ( Competitor in this project) and from
    one MEMO customer.

Do you have any information on this subject?
Does it mean we will not be able to exchange mail to MEMO with VAXmailgate
    for Memo ?

    Thank's for any help .

| What I am being told is that there is only 1 strategical gateway connection left that Verimation is really interested in : X.400 connections. However, this does not necessarily mean they will drop support totally for all the other gateway connections... Marc VH. | |||||

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay. I've spoken to a Verimation Product Management
person and he says that MEMO/MRGATE is still be supported, and that
    they still sell it.

However there has been no development in MEMO/MRGATE for some time to
keep up with MEMO Base, and this means among other things that
MEMO/MRGATE can not handle large messages.

MRGATE should be pretty transparent anyway (apart from the size issue)
We agreed though that if we decide to jack up MRMEMO functionality they
can well do the same with MEMO/MRGATE.

    OK?

    	Stefan
