    This message applies only to people interested in the FranklinDay 
Planner system and is not a solicitation.

	As reported in APACHE::TIME_MANAGEMENT note 72.*,  Franklin/Quest  
    had a policy to extend a 20% discount to 'vendors' of which Digital    
    certainly applies.

    Since Franklin dropped the Vendor Discount, all discounts are based on
    volume.  In order for us at Digital to now acquire a discount with 
    Franklin/Quest we must use a single 
		Digital Account number 3518178 
		and 
		you must use a corporate credit card.

    If you fall into this category, please use the account number above
    with your Corporate Card.  Volume discounts accure on an previous 12
    month basis but once we reach a certain level, we will most likely not
    move back to a lower level.

    After     Discount
    $ 50,000     5%
    $100,000    10%
    $200,000    15%
    $300,000    20%

    Although that may seem like a big numbers, if 1000 people spend
    $50/year, then we would all enjoy a 5% discount, etc.

    And since Franklin is a large consumer of AlphaServers, we get some of
    it back in other ways.

	Since the choice was to use the stuff from the 'approved' list or 
	buy my own, I've bought my own for many years now.  I now get a 
	40% discount by buying at Walmart.  My pages are blue instead of 
	green, but they fit and function nicely.  Tough to pay Franklin's 
	premium price when all the competition in this is commodity priced.
	That sounds real similar to something I'vce heard before ;-)

I have to let Franklin know about the competition at Walmart.

They bought TimeSystems Inc.  Why not Walmart.

Yes, their product is expensive.  But if we are going to use it anyway
we should at least get the lowest price possible.
