5217.0. "RED LIGHT Enterprise Apps" by MAIL2::RICCIARDI (Be a graceful Parvenu...) Mon Mar 31 1997 20:19
I hope that someone or some group is doing 24X7 continuous effort on
    fixing our Enterprise applications....

I've been trying to use EXCHANGE all day and night, to my intense
frustration. After trying several different entry points and waiting
forever for logon scripts to run, or finally, after staring at the MS
EXCHANGE banner for 15 minutes and then trying over again, EXCHANGE
starts up... I double click a message and then I wait anywhere from 2
minutes to 10 for it to open up for me to read.... this is not just
today. I do 90% of my mail remotely and it is ALWAYS difficult to get
    in and slow to operate...

So I bag that horrid system and try OMEGA....

Needless to say, I could write the great American novel between
screens.... And.. it's APRIL now and it is just processing Feb..
I don't remember signing anything that said I sell something and get
paid for it 2 months later....

I finally had to reset out of that particular piece of magic.....

Quite frankly, TMS is a Blessing compared to these impementations...

I'm WRITING this because I do not want the people responsible for these
implementations to think that I (and others?) can actually get my
    (their) work done as is.....

I'm not saying the effort to implement is trivial, rather incomplete
    and CRITICAL.

I am assuming you have logged a call with CCS? Have you
	escalated it?
This place is great to vent and grumble, but it would be
interesting to see what has transpired between you and CCS
	also.

not in CCS, but have been on that side
of the fence at many a time in my career

22:57:00 The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not available.
Either there are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server
    computer is down for maintenance.
22:57:00 Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
    22:57:00 Done

    So much for production mail....

And, it only takes me 3-4 minutes to get logged in to Exchange.

ANd to think that I used to gripe about ALL-IN-1 being slow. Ha!
I could care less about the wiz-bang features. I just want to send a
message quickly and get on with it and ...aarugh
