    I do believe that the base note refers to the IBM AS/400 ... not the
    AlphaServer 400 which we often refer to as the AS400. If only we sold
    as many of those as IBM sells the real thing....

|  |         I believe Jean-Pierre Julaude manages the AS/400 in VBO -
        take a look in the conference HERON::IBMVALBONNE.

        There is also a conference at MLOPCS::IBM_AS400, but it has
        been inaccessible for the last few days.

|  |     A lot of IBM work (MVS, AS400 & OS/2) is done by a company abbreviated
    SCSI that work on-site in LKG. The lead person is Craig Dudley
    (FREE::DUDLEY DTN-226-7107). The second in command is Greg Woo
    (SMAUG::WOO dtn-226-7929).

| 5186.6 | Thanks for the help and keep it coming. | 17429::WIRZBICKI |  | Fri Mar 14 1997 09:26 | 8 |
| | I just like to thank all you who have been responding to my call for help. A
number of good leads from hardware and software contacts have been coming in.
We still haven't got all the questions answered but I believe were on our way.
Again thank-you,
Michael Wirzbicki (Digital Sprit is still alive!)

| | My pass would be to hunt through the as400 web pages at IBM for a
    partner thats been producing AS400 software for a long time, then
    approach them.

    Regards,
    John
