| | This appears to be some type of stealth product. It's listed in APPIX
as a CSS product, but there is no bill of materials in APPIX. I found
no hits on that part number on the Digital internal web. No hits on
VTX Price. No hits on MDA.

| 5168.3 | 2*- Numbers are CSS CUSTOM Configuratsion !! | TRLIAN::mkodhcp-46144186.mko.dec.com::Lail | Robert G. Lail | Thu Mar 13 1997 10:59 | 27 |

	RE .0
2*-*****-** numbers are CSS Custom NON-System part numbers.
They are created when "custom" configurations, which may incude
Digital only, Digital and third party products, or possibly only
third party products, are quoted to customers. 2* series numbers
represent NON system configurations. Non-System means that NO
Digital computer systems are imbedded. C*-*****-** numbers are
created for configutations that include systems.
2P- numbers are created by CSS Annecy, France, The US uses
2T-. Because these numbers are CUSTOM usually for ONE customer, the
configurations are rarely reproduced in other geogrphies. In this
case it appears that a set of "internet" related hardware and/or
software componets were quoted to a customer. It would appear, since
no BOM was ever created and the coonfiguration was not priced that
the customer did not purchase the configuration.
In any case the best course of action would be to contact
CSS USA through you local CS4 (CSS sales person) to request a US
version of configuration. See http://quotsr.mko.dec.com (Internal)
for the contact list.

2P-HXD21-AA is, indeed, a CSS Annecy product code for a custom
"INTERNET ENTRY PACKAGE" that is specified for CMG TELECOMMUNICATIONS,
INC (and their parent CMG plc in the Netherlands).

The part number is an alias for...

    1 DT-A0303-GW	CISCO 2503I E'net/ISDN router
    1 DECXM-AA Transceiver
    1 BNE4C-02 Cable
    2 17-04285-02	Power cords
    1 2P-(TBD) Cables ELM08M-25/7.6 m
    1 BC16M-15 15' thinwire cable
