| | Actually this was a 1 GHz Alpha. It was under scrutiny by this
department to look for any doping under its cover because the
    competition didn't believe its 1.0 BegaFlops ;-).

| | It was the over-developed Spectorals that gave it away...

| | A Digital laptop also figured prominantly in a news section on cellular
telephone fraud. The news camera panned across a field of cellular
telephones (prosumably with intercepted access numbers programmed into
them). The backdrop was a number of Digital highnote laptop computers
(presumably used to do the programming).

| | gee, and there was a PDP-11/70 on that Internet program on Channel 44
last night. They tried to turn it on, but apparently someone had
    unplugged it.
