Simple question: can anyone help me to identify the total number of VAX
CPUs we have shipped to customers in Europe? I report I received from
Ayr suggests that the number is about 93k, but we have over 100k VAX
CPUs under service contract, so that can't be right.

| Maurice:
Perhaps many VAXen were trans-shipped into Europe from the US
or other non-European sites? Especially by our OEMs who included
  them in larger systems?
Perhaps some of the VAXen under contract are actually the
clones produced in the Soviet Bloc?

| Does the number supplied by Ayr include the systems shipped from Galway. Galway used to be the place where the VAX 6000's et al were manufactured ... I think. | |||||
