4396.0. "Customer Lead in Virginia" by MSBCS::A_HARRIS () Tue Jan 30 1996 13:19

    I received the following feedback from my web site. Can someone suggest
    a person in the Richmond VA area who can make a presentation on servers
    to this prospect?

         Please respond to above address if there is a local Digital Rep
         in the Richmond, Virginia area that can present Digital's
         strengths in the server market. Currently we are running
         approximately 35 Compaq Proliant 1500s with about 4000 nodes.
         WAN covers Washington DC, Fredricksburg, VA, Richmond, VA, Tampa
         FL, with sites planned for mid-west and London, England. LANs are
         all 10baseT with FDDI ring MAN, CAN in Richmond area.
         Interconnection with carriers includes SMDS. Applying CISCO
         switching to new operations center providing 10MBS to the
         desktop.

         As cost of administration increases with each new server we would
         like to evaluate consolidating servers into more centralized
         locations. NetFRAME, HP, Compaq etc.. are our current prospects.

    I'd start with Luletha Cheatham @COP, DTN 339-5099. She
    is an ABU sales manager who I believe covers Virginia.
