| | We developed a passport system in new Zealand a few years ago. It was
also bid in Malaysia but I do not know if we won, or if there even was a
decision. The best action is to contact Robyn West @NZO, the NZ
country manager for information. If you get no response please send me
mail (Axel Dougan @MSO) and I will check further.

| | In Holland, border control/immigration is a task of the Royal
Marechaussee. They are part of the Ministry of Defense, due to other
tasks they also have to perform. I gues we have some 70% market
    share in this account.
The majority of our business with this customer comes from their
operation at Schiphol (Amsterdam) Airport. You can see them operate
VT220s when you enter or leave the country. They use Mobile Data
Terminals, connected to VAXes, running applications we built and
maintain (!). We were prime contractor for their passport production
    facility at Schiphol.
Bottom line: I think the Dutch Defense Account Team should be able to
help you. The Account Manager for the Royal Marechaussee is Peter
    Oremus @UTO.

BTW we have produced an excellent video (Dutch, English, French,
Spanish and German versions) for and about the Marechausse. For
political reasons our position and visibility is very low key in this
video: it highlights their operations mainly.

                             Lex
and the role (our) IT plays in their operations.

| | About a year ago I was working with one of our partners (Logica) who
have been working with the Indonisian (sic) govt on the bid.
Currently Logica have not involved Digital Indonisia (although this
in on the cards), because they have been working with Digital
Australia.
This is a complex bid because of world bank involvment.
Please contact myself (REDDWF::GIFFORD) or Steve Avery @ meo
Logica contacts are:
Phil Rogers or Ian Whitehead (02) 202 8100 Fax (02) 9 922 7466

Stan Gifford.

| | I'm the AM for CSC Consulting. We're doing cooperative SI engagements
worldwide, that includes both Digital &CSC SI personnel, for complex client
engagements. CSC handles most of the "management" consulting, while
Digital handles most of the "technology" consulting. Multivendor
platforms (especially IBM) are a specialty.

If your client would be interested in a Digital/CSC collaboration,
    please contact me.
