I received the following question from a customer - I have no idea whom to 
contact about this.  Any pointers?

	I have a quick question; I had heard that the CABs were being
resurrected, but now I hear that they are on hold.  Do you know who
might be in charge of the effort?  I thought they were a great method
for DEC to get feedback from customers.  I was very sorry to see them
expire.

	CAB is run by Doug Smith @OGO for the ABU. Last I heard they were not on hold - in fact alive and well with the next meeting due in September. Axel

	The Customer Advisory Board is alive and well, it is supported by senior management, the current one is being planned by Ann Delgreco and runs this Sept.

	From what I understand, there used to be "lower level" CABs - not this one composed exclusively of CIOs and high-level managers. The smaller CABs would have a focus on selected products and invited participation from the people who actually used our products. Are groups still doing these? Steve

	There are industry advisory boards. I am unfamiliar with specific product advisory boards, but I wouldn't be surprised - especially around PC's, Workstations, service products, etc.

	RE .4 and .5 - There are product-specific advisory boards (or there's at least ONE product-specific advisory board :-) ). TeamLinks engineering is hosting one for TeamLinks in October (in the U.S.; apparently there also has been at least one TeamLinks CAB held in Europe). -- Nina (TeamLinks doc'n)

	The Storage organization also holds something called the Product Directions Forum (PDF) where we solicit feedback from customers. Jim
