| Digitals Embedded and Realtime Products group, an arm of the Components and
Peripherals Division, builds board level products using Alpha
processors designed for the embedded world, i.e. the DECchip 21066 and
21068.
The Noname is a "Baby AT" form factor mother board with a 166Mhz 21066
Alpha AXP processor on it. This motherboard has PCI and ISA slots and
supports WNT and Digital Unix. Contact your local ER&T sales rep or ER&T

Contact Harold. He's always looking for a good rep. These guys also handle
the alpha VME boards (AXPvme 64/160). Those seem to be moving pretty well.

| Dare I ask ... Any way this board could be available via EPP? I'd
*love* to finally put an Alpha under the hood.
Steve (who has done MB swaps several times already including most
recently an Intel P90 Neptune board but who is tired of getting
ribbed by his brother who works at Microsoft and gets 92% discounts
on their goods and keeps "asking" how much of a discount I get on
Digital goods and I tell him and he snickers but I tell him how
wonderful Alpha is and that Digital is making a comeback and he
agrees and then asks me why I don't have an Alpha yet and then he
snickers some more while I stew in silence)

Roelof - no problem; Tex and I are taking all countries, and prospects,

Actually there are two groups within C& P sell the Noname board. ( one
is TOEM whose customers are mostly Embedded systems. The 2nd group
which sells the board is called AOTG ( Alpha OEM Technology Group ).
This group is focused on variuos computer Manufacturers such as
Olivetti. Apart from Noname boards this group also sells 21064 based
Alpha board ( Baby AT form factor ) with 21064- 275 MHz CPU. Noname is
based on 21066 CPU with 166 MHZ and 233 MHz clock speeds. Recently C& P
reorganized by merging AOTG with TOEM,

These boards are called AlphaHPB.
