I apologise upfront, if this entry is in the 'completely
	wrong' conference!
Is somewhere on the net, a table/list, which tells me the
title, or a 'short abstract' for all Posix standards?
        I have some numbers here (1003.1, 1003.b, 1003.1b, 1003.1c,
1003.2, 1003.4, 1003.5) where I just dont find any reference
(but beside of those, I'd be interested in all/most standards).
I know that the 'long' description of the Posix standards is
sold by some standards organisation (quite expensive), but
I hope that some short descriptions are around on the net!
        Thanks for any help!
        Manfred

| The applicable conference is LIBRT1::POSIX. There's a marketing type
abstract at the IEEE WWW server of 1003.1 (API), 1003.2 and .2a (shell
and utilities) and 1003.5 (Ada bindings) at
http://www.ieee.org/bookstore/opensys.html . It also includes the
    corresponding ISO/IEC standard numbers.

The IEEE Standards Catalog is at:

    	gopher://stdsbbs.ieee.org/00/pub/catalog/1995_IEEEstds_Catalog.txt

The Catalog lists the titles for .1, .1b, .2, .3, .5, and .9, which are
    the published parts to date.
