    I have received coupons as a result of the class action anti-trust suit
    against the airline.  You can only use them for up to 10% of the cost
    of each flight.  I'd like to use them against travel I do for the
    company (meaning - I get the 10% not Digital).  Thomas Cook Travel
    doesen't have a policy for this.  They said that Digital is negotiating
    with the airlines right now on how to use their coupons.  Here's my
    questions:
    
    1.  Did the company actually file a claim for all of the business
    travel we did and they paid for during the period in question?  (I heard
    a rumor that they did but I figured the person coordinating it must
    have been TSFO's.)  I never received any official word or policy from
    Digital so I went ahead and filed on my own.
    
    2.  Does anyone have any advice on how to use coupons for business
    travel? 
    
    I don't want to break any rules here but in the absence of a clear
    policy I don't want my coupons to go to waste.
    
    Comments anyone?

	Yes, Digital did file a claim for travel that they paid for. A memo went around instructing employees NOT to file on their own. I don't see any way you can end up pocketing the 10% value. At best Digital would get a break on the fare. If that's not what you want, then use them for personal travel or give them to someone else. Steve

	They are a joke anyway, I understand they are only good for 10% off of a full fare!

	it's published base fare.....not quite the same thing as full fare. in other words, airfare war fares count if they are published at the lower price. The real trick is that the BASE fare BEFORE taxes has to meet the cutoffs for the coupons. For instance, I bought a round trip Delta Colorado Springs to LAs Vegas for $180. the base fare was 152.73, the rest was taxes/fees. I'm buying two tickets, I'll take the saved $20 bucks and eat a good dinner buffet.... What they hey. I've never been heard to say "I don't need the extra money (10,25,50, whatever), just forget about giving me a discount." 8^) --Bert

	That is good news, I read the terms of the agreement and misunderstood the fare description. Based on my misunderstanding I decided not to deal with the refund. A day or two later I got mail from Digital saying they would be claiming the coupons.

	the only ones who made out in this suit were the lawyers.... their money came up-front in the settlement, the consummer has been waiting now over a year and we get crap... IMO
