3635.0. "HP PA-RISC out of gas! :)" by GLDOA::CUTLER () Fri Jan 13 1995 08:45

    I heard some potentially good news last night, HP may be starting to
    imply/indicate to their customers that HP PA-RISC is out of gas.
    Nothing major coming down the pipe, customers walking away disappointed
    from non-disclosures, etc. As was predicted from our folks inside, it
    appears that PA-RISC has hit the "brick wall" and HP may be implying
    that to their customers. I can't reveal my sources, but, let's put it
    this way, I was happy to hear that HP customers were disappointed about
    what HP disclosed that they will be offering them (or is it "not offering"
    them) in the  near future!

    :)

But HP has made it known that by early 1996, they will have the highest
perfoming desktop system which I think will be powered by PA8000
Could get more specific on this "out of gas" thing????
