Has anyone heard of a large deal Digital just received from China? I
heard all the hospitals in China will use our hardware. Can any one
verify this deal has happened and what the deal is worth?
Regards,
Greg

| 3509.1 | Wyse has contract | BXCSRV::FINLY::kaminsky | Tue Nov 15 1994 11:18 | 17 | |
I read in the WSJ a month or so ago that Wyse had won the system integration contract for tying together Chinese hospitals with the latest and greatest in computer technology. I know it includes remote x-ray diagnosis, etc. China has a dearth of medical experts and is banking on using technology to maximize their effectiveness and to help in providing quality care to outlying regions. The contract is huge (billion+?) I don't quite remember the numbers but very large. It would be great if we could get even a fraction of the deal. Ken | |||||
