    Some of you may know that I'm leaving (I was "selected" for redundancy,
    or TFSO as those on the other side of the Atlantic would have it).
    
    I finish next Tuesday so I thought I'd better say goodbye.

    No speeches, but it does feel a bit odd as I've been here since 1974
    (1971 if  you count my first couple of years with DEC, before I left
    for a year).
