2586.0. "C/S References" by SOJU::SLATER (Bill Slater - 603-884-4953 (DTN 264)) Tue Jul 20 1993 17:38

    As client/server computing continues to be an increasingly inmportant
    topic at Digital, I thought it might be useful to post this list of
    texts here. It is not all inclusive, but it's a great start to
    understand this client/server phenomenon which is now dominating the
    computing industry.

    Upon request, I will also post an 85 entry bibliography of c/s related
    articles which form an excellent foundation of client/server BEFORE the
    texts below came into print.

    Excellent suggested reading.

| 2586.1 | Take a look at what CTG is doing too. | AWECIM::STENGEL |  | Mon Aug 09 1993 14:43 | 8 |
| | I just returned from a week long event held by Digital & Cambridge
    Technology Group. Digtal will be participating in future executive
    briefings on John Doonovan's rapid prototyping techniques and 3 tier
    approach to standards based client server solutions. Over 200 copies
    of his book "Business Re-Engineering with Technology" were distributed
    to the people attending this event. I will check the CS notes file to
    see if someone has written about CTG yet, and if not, I will include a
    brief outline of his approach.
