I attended the Client Server World/Database world Expo in Boston
yesterday.  Digital had a GREAT showing in my opinion.  Kudos to the team
responsible for putting together the Digital presence, a really spectacular
job was done on this.  It made me feel that possibly we are turning the
corner after all.  The imaginative attractions, advertising and great
messages were a big change from the ho-hum, techno-babble, and often total
absence in the past such as last August's Windows world.  At that time I was
looking into DB-oriented 4GL's.  Not only were we absent but I could not
find a vendor who had anything good to say about our database offerings or
doing business with us.  This year, in contrast, Dr.  Schuesel (sp?) who
opened the thing , mentioned us several times, in favorable context I
thought, to the thousands who laid down real money to attend the conference.
One person sitting next to me, noticing my badge, wanted information about
ACCESSWORKS.  He seemed very interested.  I was able to point somewhere
because we showed up and had an agenda , specifically  at todays
Accessworks presentation, on the Digital schedule. The new AXP logo and
Digital logo look great together, a real eye catcher.


Really fine job folks....
